We are four congregations located in the northeast quadrant, incorporated as a 501.c.3 non-profit in 2020. Despite our differences in faith, we are unified in a desire to provide essential housing to those with the greatest need.
“The coming together of the faith communities is what gives this project excitement. It is the spirit of unity that will make this project a reality. We have the right heart & right spirit and the desire to partner & share resources“
~ Pastor Franklin Ross, RIDC President

We work together with developers and not for profits to access both local and NYS funding for development of needed housing. The City of Rochester requires partnerships between developers and faith groups. Some NY state funds are only allocated to projects involving faith-based initiatives. RIDC’s role also involves building connections between local organizations working on similar initiatives.
We have created strong interpersonal relationships as we work together in service to Rochester’s most vulnerable populations. With deep respect for each other’s beliefs, we come together in a loving spirit to accomplish what needs to be done.
